I'd be glad to share this one if it were not for the legalities. That one was multitrack with overdubs and mine was live to 2 track.

Btw, he does have a live release from Carnegie Hall not too long after I recorded him but the sound is totally different from mine. Too bad I can't get it released, because it's one of the best live recordings I did.Īlso on the set were, 'Freeflight' 'Something', 'El Mar', 'Octane', 'Summertime' and a few songs I don't know the titles to. At times he played really soft, so it works to pretty good effect. For better or worse, this was one of my dbx 157 recordings. George gave me his blessings to record this but he asked us to keep the cello low in both the recording and pa mixes. His big song at this time was 'White Rabbit' and he also did a great rendition of that one. He did a nice version of 'Georgia On My Mind' where he was scat singing along with the guitar to great effect.

Don't count on this one getting released since I've heard his lawyers are 'from hell' from Joel Dorn who released one of my recordings on his label. Ronnie Foster was on keyboards, but the cello player wasn't that great. I recorded him live back in 1974 and both the sonics and performance were pretty good.
